I think it will be more reunion friendly what with everything being right on the water, all the shade trees, and all. I think it will be more enjoyable for those who want to watch the younger kids playing in the water, but couldn't stand to sit out in the sun. The reunion was great the food was great and all the families there were great. the weather was hot but the cabins were cold with air. was really nice to sit outside under the trees with the breeze off the Colo river cooling all if you weren't there you missed a lot of good fun Aunt Iney was so cute and looked really good for 90 (doesn't look that age)Andera and Trent did an awsome job of eveything, finding the place seeing that eerything needed was there and pulling the whole thing together. They enjoyed it so much they are doing it again next year.

We had a great time this past weekend and are looking forward to next year. We ran into Philip on the way home, he was riding his son-in-law's motorcycle like the wind. He looked very cool. We stopped and gave him water and very much need sunscreen at Leta. He may be thankful after he got home. We are all thinking of his kids that have gone down south for the week hoping they are OK with Dolly coming in on the coast. It was so nice to reconnect with all of you after a year. The reunion was GREAT! Finding a new place that would be so reunion friendly was exactly what Phillip and I were hoping to find when we started looking last year. With Ande and Trent's help, they found this place. I am glad everyone agreed to stay in this area, and maybe before next year's reunion, someone can help us find a place that will have a larger meeting room, closer to the river/lake, and not crowded with other reunion groups. This is a group deal so if anyone knows of another place they would like to suggest, you can call Phillip and me or Ande and Trent, and we will go scope it out for next year. It was so great to see so many of the children playing in the water, and seeing the great-grandparents (and maybe even great-great) being able to watch those kiddos! I thank everyone for their help! What fun we had! It was hard work, but it was worth it! Mary and Steve, thanks for taking care of Phillip on his motorcycle ride home. He had a ball! I was waiting for him under a shade tree on down the highway. Wendy and John, thanks for your help. (John, your guacamole was great!) Till next year, adios!

Had a great time. Loved the resort and hope to return to it, or somewhere in the area very similar, i.e., trees, lake, and all of us together at the same place where everything is within walking distance. No place where we have to drive to and from the main room. I think the "resort" like atmosphere is the best! That's my 2 cents worth. :)

We have daughter Wendy Marie (Woodfin)Farris she is Graduating From Texas Tech University. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy The Doctors Hooding is on May 15th 2009 @ 10:00 AM at the City Bank Auditorium . The Commencement Ceremony is on Saturday morning at 10:00 The 16 of May at the United Spirit Arena .In Lubbock Texas. We are all so happy an proud of our Wendy.
